





ENC1A - Georgia 2014 European Champion and Europe 1 for RWC2015

Saturday March 15th, 2014 in Tbilissi, Georgia won the right to face All Black on October 2nd, 2015 within the framework of the round C of the RWC on 2015 in England. Romania will be in the round D with France Ireland, Italy and Canada. With this victory 22 - 9 in front of Romania, Georgia is also crowned 2014 European Champion.
In front of 27000 spectators at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium, Georgia dominated the match with 1 try in front of Romanians who have never proved unworthy.
IRB Council Member, President of FIRA-AER and International Olympic Committee Member Octavian Morariu, who attended the match, added: " Today we saw a great game of Rugby. This match was the best promotion for the quality of Rugby that exists within FIRA.

In the other matches of the day, in Brussels Russia dominated Belgium 34 - 20 to confirm their third place synonime of play-off game to reach the RWC2015. With this defeat Belgium finds itself confirmed in ENC1B next season. Spain surprised Portugal in Lisbon and won the 4th place in Division ENC1A.
